Gawd yes I would do it!
I have always wanted to be a girl for just a day to get to know what it's really like.
Give me the periods and all the bad stuff too.
I think I would be a much better lover and b/f if I really knew what it felt like to be "her".

I wouldn't do it, but there could be some value to experiencing life from another point of view by walking in someone else's shoes. I just prefer to do that abstractly.
