Messages with any type of sexual content? Yes

If it was my minor child, I would send the 26 year old a message he would never forget.

You can chat with anyone..as long, as your not asking sexual questions. But really what does a 26 year old man have in common with a minor?

According to Dateline NBC...

Chatting with a minor-- in of itself is not a violation of the law. Exchanging sexual converse with them-- is.

And of course, if you send naked pics .. That might violate both state and federal laws (yeah, the big boys)...

Hopefully, the minor is almost 18-- and is someone that you are familiar with.

no it is not. But there must be a motive or a reason why this man is talking to a minor. as long as the motive isnt sexual in anyway then it is okay.

The talk itself is not illegal, but the behavior is highly questionable.

That depends on what they are chatting about. If the subject is sex, it may be. if the subject is politics, science, sports, etc., age is not relevant.

Yes, if it's sexual.

When in doubt, log off and contact a parent or guardian, and the police. Stay safe!
