Did GOD make the perfect pet, when HE made cats ?

I love any pets, they have each their own personalities, when you know them. My kitty (17 1/2) has been such a great influence in my life. I am so thankful that he kept me as an owner. He has been sick, but still trying to comfort me :-) I love watching him sleep. He still looks like a little kitty and having him as my brother for all these years, I have unconditional love for him. He is the perfect pet and family member

I'd say they are one of the finest creations of Lord and Lady. They have a small, compact body, long legs to run fast, claws to climb out of danger or kill prey. Sharp teeth can be used for defense or a fast killing blow. The long tail helps balance the cat and right it during a fall to minimize injury. Their ears swivel to pick up sounds, and their paw pads are so sensitive they can feel the mouse move along the floor.

Overall, one of nature's best-designed predator animals. Possibly the most efficient land-based predator pound for pound.

They are clean, intelligent critters who actively try to communicate with us (Cats don't meow to other cats - they are doing it to attract human attention). Cats entered into a partnership with humans - they kill the pests that contaminate our food supply, we give them safe homes and spoil them rotten. As long as we keep our end of the deal, so will the cat.

They are one of God's critters that my granddaughter is allergic to, so we are not able to have one in the house. It is a shame, as she loves them second only to horses. Isn't it funny how people attribute human characteristics, like sneaky, independant, and "suck ups" to the wonderful creatures God gave us dominion over? I love my horses, but when I first allowed my granddaughter some freedom with them, I constantly reminded her of safety rules followed with the comment "They don't mean to kill you, they are just horses." A horses nature is to kick at what they cannot see behind them.
P.S. Will you muck the barn if I clean your litter box? Just remember rule # 1, they don't mean to.....

yes, they are a lot less trouble than dogs.
I have the first kitten I've ever had. I always had a dog before.
You don't have to walk cats in the snow and surprisingly to me cats have personalities.
However, my dogs thought I was a queen.
My cat thinks she's a queen.

Yes, God created cats. I have had several, and i like dogs better. But cats have a definite personality.

i would say so. i have both cats and dogs,and have had other types of pets also,but cats are great. they may not play games and stuff like dogs,but they are just as loving and loyal,and are much easier to care for,especially for apartment dwellers

Perfect pet is a dog.
I have a cat, i like her but cats are very selfish and stubborn. They are very cute but I think as far loyality and love dogs are THE BEST !

I have only met one perfect cat....he belongs to a friend...and lets me pet him when I want to and will sit on my lap....in essence acts like a small lap dog.
