I have a Canon ZR500. I bought it back in February through Dell. I used it for a while and then lost the charger for the battery. I haven't used it since. I took the battery out of the camera and now when I put a new battery in the camera doesnt turn on. When I put my old battery into my brothers camera(he has the same one) his camera turns on but says that the battery needs to be charged. Nothing happens when either battery is in my camera. But both batteries work in the other camera...so..what can possibly be wrong with my camera? I dont think I can return it to Dell because I lost the original charger and its been months since I ordered the camera.

Some time the switching circuit will not work, if little deviation in battery voltage level .your battery need charging no other way ,if you get the same charger (from ur brother or new) plug it in camera with adopter cable, & test it. if it still not working better to take it to service centre.
