Haha - yes or no. That's all. I'm just putting this here to give our Pentaxian friends the moment of glory that they deserve. I always stuck by my Pentax film cameras (like the non-USA world did) and I feel your pain. Pentax was slow to get on the digital train and lost market share. Now that they are fully dedicated to digital photography with no more distractions from making film cameras, we can expect Pentax to become the third power. This should make you proud:

But seriously, take a moment to share your joy with the rest of us.

Oops. Although this is announced on the PopPhoto website, it was actually the editors of American Photo Magazine - a sister publication of Popular Photography - who gave this award to Pentax.

Congrats to Pentax for making such a fine camera. I'm thinking the award would no doubt boost sales.

You betcha, I've been shooting K10D since it was released in November. and I'm sure anyone who's seen my posts have been touting it (sometimes rather harshly)

Pop Photo editors choice
Japans grand Prix award
TIPA award
SLRToday award for engineering and design

I think Nikonn and Canon look at this thing and go WTF? Where did this come from..... Canon 30D is still $200 more and 2 megs short.

Theyy had better resond soon or in the mid range Pentax will start to dominate

No but Pentax has been a good camera for years anyway.

I think the same PopPhoto person rated Imaging Software. Did you see? They listed Microsoft Vista under 'Imaging Software'!!!!!!

I just became suspect of the neutrality of their reviews...
