do they look like a rice grain at all? there is wormer at the pet store. there is the liquid one/one that is cheaper that kills several varieties but doesnt kill the tape worm. but the petstore does carry a tape worm tablets. they are expensive, but normally that is what animals have. the cat one was like 30$ for a few tablets-its half that online. 1800petmeds.com or drsfosterandsmith.com but you can also buy the dog ones, it is the same product just higher dose and more pills and cut the pill up so that you dont OD the cat. i would do both wormings the tape and the rest to make sure- and if neither of those get rid of them then call your vet.

You cant buy things to get rid of the worms at a store, rather than going to the vet. ask to get a de-worming. you need to get 3-4 de-wormings 1 evey month for 3 monthes. if you dont see long spaghetti looking strips in your cats stool then consult the vet again.

Those are tapeworms, which the cat gets by eating an infected flea. Tapeworm medication is over the counter in most areas, you can get it from a vet or a pet store. It's called Praziquantel and is very safe and effective. Give dose according to pets weight.

Pet smart and Wal mart - $24.99

VET- free phone call and explanation - "just stop by for a shot" cost - $6.00 (yes just six dollars!)

Seeing my newly rescued cat poop out the
dead worm (much bigger than the little ones
that come out the b u t t) - PRICELESS!

I took my kittens to the vet - I don't know how well store products work but the stuff the vet gave them worked great.

Cat wormer.
Simple as that.
The tablets you open up that has a powder in it to mix in with their food.
Put the wormer in the meatty foods you buy, not the dry cat food.
They will most likely eat it better and more frequently.
My cat has the same problem.
Only my mom quit buying the wormer =/
I'm SO gonna make her buy it again. good luck!
You could ask your vet for wormer.

best to go to the vet anyway that way the vet can tell you what type they are so your cat can be medicated for the right thing.

I suggest a pet store dewormer. But if you still notice worms in the cat's excrement, you must take her to the vet.

Your vet has to precribe a medication. Make an appointment ASAP and bring them a fecal sample, they'll test it and figure out exactly what is best for her.
