I've been told take your body weight, divide it by 2, and what you get change that to ounces and that's how much water you personally need to consume.
For example - I weigh 90 pounds, 90 divided by 2 is 45. Therefor I need to drink 45 ounces of water each day.
A lot of water might help remove some toxins that cause facial issues, but really it's going to take more than that depending on your particular case. For you it might be hereditary, hormonal, diet, hygiene, or generally high maintenance skin.

Its 8 8oz glasses a day. So you should drink 64oz of water, or 2 liters, or 1/2 a gallon.

I think it comes out to be somewhere around 2 liters of water a day, but be warned you do not actually need to drink that much water as alot of the water your body absorbs is through your food. I'd say you should atleast drink one liter of water a day and it can be beneficial to your complexion, but not drastically.
OH and if you really want to improve your complexion try using ProActive, it seriously worked SO well for me!

No... 8 glasses a day is way over the limit.
You can find conversion sites on google.
for instance;
I am 120 lbs, and i should be intaking 1.8 Litres of water a day. It goes according to weight.
If i went by the 8 glasses rule, i would be intaking double that and over-hydration is possible.

8 8oz. glasses of water (or 64 ounces) is the standard, but lately people have been suggesting you drink half the amount of your body weight (or for a person who is 140 pounds they would drink 70 ounces) which is what has been working great for me. And yes, your complection is one of the benefits of drinking enough water every day.

Water does cleanse the system. Skin wise, a healthy balanced diet should also help. No more than 5 litres of water a day should be consumed, as 2 much can kill you xxx

don't keep drinking water without some juice between drinks of water. I drank too much water and was in ICU for 1 week. too much water is not good for a person either..
