Why is Mexico so hateful and bigoted?

Many Guatamalans are crossing into mexico for a better life and to do the jobs mexicans wont do. I don't understand why they aren't given mexican citizenship,educational and job opportunities. If they are caught illegally in mexico they are treated horribly. Since 1974, foreign immigrants in Mexico illegally have been subject to prison sentences of two years, plus a fine. Immigrants who are caught reentering Mexico after deportation face 10-year prison sentences, compared to two years here. I hear many of them are actually even killed. Why are they being so discriminated against?

Jazz, I am trying to point out the hypocrisy. It's no secret that most illegals are mexican nor is there anything racist about saying so,it's a fact and easily researchable. It's also no secret that mexico has been pushing us to take in its citizens who come illegally,they condem us if we refuse while they are much more harsh on people who go to mexico illegally. It isn't fair or neighborly of them to expect us to support and reward their citizens when they are unwilling to do the same for others.

Mexico is running a scam, complete with double standard.
They WANT their people to go North, to grab those US Dollars and send them back HOME.

Guatemalans are eating up precious pesos. Mexico will get rid of them any way they see fit. They don't have time to fool with such nonsense. Theres too much cash to get from America.

But the point is that Mexico is Mexico. All countries are different in how they deal with certain situations. But you can't use that to argue the problem on illegal immigration, and that most are from Mexico. Just get over it, that's how life is. Look at China, Venezuela, North Korea, etc.

I don't know if you are trying to say that we should adopt Mexico's immigration laws or we should condemn what they do but that's not wise to say because we are not Mexico, let them be, we are America.
And why do you choose to single out Mexico???

Perhaps we should learn how to deal with illegal immigrants from them. Of course the Spanish invaders are needlessly cruel. Look at a history book if you don't believe that.

That's why Most have children and DON'T GET MARRIED!!

Check the single mom status statistics of Illegal Mexicans. That's WHY they get free health care, food stamps and welfare. If they have an on the books lawn mowing, ~taxpayer~ husband, they won't get the freebies!

Mexico is smart enough to get rid of the people they don't want and their B kids. Why do you think so many are in this country, Mexico doesn't want them. The rich in Mexico do nothing for their people.

you mean Mexico adheres to a double standard? they can only come into the USA and have that occur?Id like to know if Mexico is an oil producing country, where their billions are going that the people in mexico live close to the poverty level, still dont have clean water filtration, industry, jobs, education and other essentials.. how come all the people of mexico dont rise together to overturn the corruption and greed in their own govt and better their own country so they wouldnt be coming to the USA what they could EASILY HAVE WITH THAT KIND OF INCOME.. how come US oil is so expensive and why isnt MEXICO providing it to us since we gave them a billion dollar loan and wrote it off a few years back..

Most people have xenophobia....or fear of foreigners. All countries have harsh policies against immigration. Name one country, which allows you to enter, work, and enjoy the same rights as a citizen??

This is the one common trait all cultures have; they are not to fond of those from the outside of their own boundaries

the simple reason is mexico govt is a top 5 corrupt country, if a politicain cant control their areas they dont want foreigners! why do u think so many illegals come to the USA?, the mexican govt will not provide any opportunity for their people
