I am a black women and I am very much attractive to white men for a wide variety of reasons. Although. I've dated black men I feel they are not my type and not to my standards. My first boyfriend of 6 years was white and Itallian and he was the best relaionship I ever had. I now attend a predominetly black college; voulunteer at a local hospital were there are white men. But, I don't think that is the best place to meet white men. How do I go about meeting a nice white men.

I am from NYC so try to be specific. Thank You. :)

You're in the best place in the world to meet men of any race. (I live on LI). Go to MOMA, the Library, NYU campus, Washington Square. Strike up a conversation about what's going on around you. Just act nonchalant, like a typical Manhattanite. If the guy is interested, he'll talk to you. Suggest a hot dog or some ice cream or a coffee and see what happens. Don't, I repeat, don't try to meet a guy in a bar. Good luck.

I'm not from NYC, so I can't tell you a specific place. But I'd say that getting yourself out of the predominantly black college is going to up your chances of meeting white men. If meeting white men is your goal, you should go to a predominantly white college, or at least a college that is more balanced, racially.

Having the white men in your workplace is actually a positive. Even if you are uncomfortable actually dating co-workers, these people still may have brothers, cousins, ... friends, so it sure can't hurt.

I am going to try to help. I am a white female, BF is black. We didn't set out to find each other, or find someone of another race, it just happened. We met at work. He is the only guy I ever dated (now living together) that is not white, no one was more surprised than me that we ended up together. Only thing I can suggest is don't look. Seems like when you are not looking and least expect it, that is when you will find someone. Another thing to keep in mind, many people will not even consider dating outside their own race (their loss for limiting their world). The person you find will be one that looks at people as people and not a category.

You wouldn't believe how many white men out there would love to here a Black woman is searching for them, lol. The local Gym, Grocery store and even Laundry Mat are good places to start. There is also a Library, and maybe a pool hall.

Why not at the hospital? Sounds like a good place to start, is there not a cafeteria? Try the library, how about local markets, grocery stores, white men have to eat you know...

Go to church. Or even a church singles mixer. I've dated several white men, and they can be jerks too! But to meet a nice one I would find one at church.
