I am using a 35mm camera and recently I noticed that most of the pictures developed by this camera have a bright light mostly in the left side of the pictures and sometimes in the center and right side. Sometimes this 'light' is red instead of white. NOT ALL OF THE PICTURES ON THE FILM HAVE THIS DEFECT; ONLY ABOUT 50% OF THEM. By the way, this problem my occur even if the sun is behind the person taking the picture.

this is one of the pictures in the film:

IT IS NOT THE FILM!!!!!! Your camera needs repair. Either the shutter is dragging, the mirror is lagging or some combination of both. The edges are underexposed - not overexposed, people. The sky is not exposed correctly, either.

This is obviously a horizontal travel shutter and the front curtain and rear curtain are lagging. The mirror lag would change the sky exposure.

Your camera needs to be cleaned and lubed or discarded.

It looks like light leakage due to shutter damage. Maybe sometimes the shutter does not close completely.

This is a job for a camera repair place. Look for one in your area. Film still rules, by the way. Just put a digital picture that was printed, say, 5 years ago on a good consumer photo printer next to a photo that was printed by a photo lab 20 years ago. Which one looks better? See? Plus my negatives are still good and will be good even if my hard disk crashes.
