For me it is purely for love
We have been together for 6 years now (June 30)
We have 2 beautiful daughters together (4 and 2)
And will finally be able to get married this year
the reason why we haven't done it sooner was finacial reason but we finally got to a point where we can afford a small wedding

After dating for 12 years I just thought it was time. By then you should know who your marrying. I mean the way he thinks, his mannerisms, character, hobbies, what hes like with his family. Like when I married my husband I knew that he didn't like being outdoors at all, he loves computers works and plays on them everyday for hours at a time.AHHHHHHHHHHHH. But I still love him and it will be 10 years next year in November so I guess we're doing ok. Hes there for me when I need him and we go everywhere together, when I can get him off the computer. Plus it helps that I don't drive so me has to take me wherever I need to go. Don't worry you'll know.

I could never ever imagine getting married for anything other then true love. Life would be so miserable!! No amount of money in the world can make up for the joy of true love.

Definitely for love. I actually could be considered to have gone a rung or two lower than I was before both economically and socially...but I have the guy I love, and he has me.
As long as we have that and a roof over our heads, that's all we need.

I was never big on marriage, being from divorced parents. My husband and I lived together for 10 years before we tied the knot. I knew I wanted to spend my life with him, he has loved me thru fat and slim thru my Prozac mother and to this day still tells me he loves me.We have been together for 30 years. My answer is first lust, then love. He still has a cute butt. he he he

I'm getting married in 2 weeks..and it purely for love..couldn't be for money..I had more of it than he did..and socially..he's a recluse..so it must be love..I couldn't live happily without him.

I found a lady I couldn't live without - and I couldn't live with her if I wasn't married.... ;) She is my best friend - and I hardly ever do anything without her after a year and a half of marriage. Never even had a n arguement.

For love, of course. There is no other reason to get married.
