I'm a TX mama, and I like to keep things nice and clean until kids are ready to handle something more.
No, it's not okay. When you're 18 and he's 22, it's okay. Right now, you need to focus on finishing your education, college would be great. Don't let guys, or an unexpected pregnancy, get in the way of you building yourself into the fine woman you want to be.
P.S. You're not legal. He can be arrested if it goes beyond a kiss goodnight.

No, mentally they are in two totally different places. When an 18 yo goes after a 14 yo it is usually because he can't handle dealing with a girl his own age and because he wants someone he can easily manipulate and use. At 14 it may seem cool to have an older guy, but its not. What can a 14 yo offer an 18 year old besides their body? And when he's tired of playing with you he'll move on to the next. Focus on being 14 and enjoying your childhood. Guys will still be there when you are older and hopefully you will be mature enough to handle them and see through the BS.

No I don’t and neither does the law considering its illegal. Although it may not seem like a big age difference, there is a big maturity gap between 18 and 14 years of age; and really you have to wonder what is wrong with the guy if he’s dating a girl that young. Stay away from him and date someone your own age for the time being.

No. Girl, if you care about this guy, you'll keep your distance. He could get in to trouble even if people suspect something is going on. He needs to look for girls his own age, just like the rest of us guys do. And you shouldn't do anything to encourage a relationship with him. You're still too young to have a relationship anyways, let alone with a guy who's either done with high school or about to go to college. Four years isn't a big deal when you're both all grown up, but right now, it's just not appropriate.

No, I do not. The 18 year old is a MAN and legally so. The 14 year old is still a child. Sex between them could be called statutory rape and he'd be arrested. This girl is not ready for what an 18 year old male is ready for.

no 4 years is a big gap under the age of 18. The only reason a guy would want to date a 14 year old is just because she is innocent and unaware of what lies he can say just to get her into bed.
Apart from the fact that it's illegal.

Noway. The 14 year old is too young and doesn't have enough experience to be on equal ground with the 18 year old....not to mention if it becomes sexual it's breaking the law.

I don't know. If they truley like eachother then they might want to give it a try, but most likely the guy just wants to take advantage of the girl. I would say that they should wait till the girl is old enough to make that decision and knows the consiquences of what could happen. Maybe till she is 18, then they should give it a shot.

I remember being that age. Every boy I knew was smart enough not to go out with jail bait. Today, it is even worse. The boy can wait, and if not, all the more reason not to do it.

it's called statutory rape even if there is no sex, he can get in deep trouble.
it's also against the law in most states.
i can't see what an 18 year old boy and 14 year old girl have in common anyway.
