Well, consider the universe and how everything in it works. I'd say that YHWH was big on science rather than the supernatural.

It seems to me that he used nature and the natural working of things to acomplish much. There are stories of intervention but even they were done through the medium of his creation rather than 'magic.'

If you believe in YHWH as the one God anyways...

What does science study but the creation of G-d?

Science attempts to explain G-d's work in naturalistic, mathematical terms.

Religion attempts to explain G-d's work in supernatural terms.

Both study the same thing...

But to one, "G-d did it" and "just because" are not good enought answers.

YHWH is Hebrew for the English name 'Jehovah'. Since He is the creator, it makes sense that he would use nature to accompish his works right? Even people today use the things they create.

God's commandments are to love "him" with every fiber of our being and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Love does not belong in the realm of science and natural order, though without love there would be chaos in both. You can not measure it, in terms of the scientic method. The natural order of the universe are gifts and manifestatiions of God's love, as is intelligence in which to tinker with things empirically.

YEs, he uses his creation, he does not always have to be superbatural. What about when he started the fire for Elijah, around the Bal followers? or when He killed the guards with fire that tried to appraoch Elijah? or when he seperated the waters for Moses?

Wherever the Bible touches on science, it has been thousands of years ahead of human science.

Things exist because they can. If conditions were not conducive to life, there would be no life.
