Who says we were meant to see in black and white? We don't NEED to see in color but we do because God wanted us to enjoy life!

I think the cones inside our eyes are what determine that we were meant to see color.
Where on earth do you get the idea that we were "meant to see things in black and white"?

Little-known fact:
Except for the very center of your visual field, you do see in black-and-white (and shades of gray).

That's the excuse my parents used for not getting a color television for years (the real reason was they were cheapskates).
