are there any proud virgins out there?? i dont want to feel alone in this.. it's very hard but i'm saving it til marrige, and i know nothing is going to push me to do it before i get married, it's really hard though..

i just want to know are there any PROUD virgins out there? or did any of you save it until you got married??
was/is it tough for you?

I'm 13, and I'm very determined to save myself for marriage, at all costs. My friends laugh at me when I tell them this, but I'm going to stay a virgin (until marriage anyways).

Although I've never been asked out or anything, I would imagine it's tough, especially with society today. I mean, in the Adolescent section, every other question is about a pregnant teen. Teens are losing their virginity left and right, and a virgin is just about as rare as...finding a million dollars on the street.

I waited until marriage. It was not hard for me but I felt like friends and other people would judge me and give me a hard time about it so I didn't real share my stance on it with anyone. Now I am happily married to someone who waited as well. I am glad I did and can't imagine the stress and regret that would exist by not waiting. Stay strong and know you are not alone. A lot of people you think are doing it. . .aren't.

A close friend of mine got married this summer. She's middle-aged and was still a virgin. She's a christian and didn't want to have sex before marriage. I got married at 24 and I was still a virgin. I think there are still people around who don't wish to have sex outside of a meaningful relationship.

I'm a virgin too and I am very proud!I don't feel different when I am with my girls and talkin about sex and stuff..I always feel good with myself and let me tell you this:many boys who know that I am a virgin want me to have sex with them,they didn't say anything like this but I can tell by the way they look at me and talk to me..they're like "wow you are really beautiful do u have a boyfriend?" and when I say no they're like "Don't u need one?"..so it's obvious!Of course there's a minority who want me to marry them because I am a virgin and they like that,one of them told me once that whoever marries me will be the luckiest man on earth!I am Greek and nowadays girls are more free to do whatever they want,in the past parents were very strict!My parents are still one of them they don't want me to have sex before my marriage and I think they're right because I see how ppl treat girls who lost their virginity before marriage!Boys call them b*tches and I really don't want boys to call me that way!!I have many friends,I mean boys who respect me and want me to have a serious relationship with them..not all of them as I said..This makes me very proud and I want to give my virginity to someone special who will appreciate it and love me forever!!I love myself the way I am!

Yes, I did hold out until marriage. And I just never got into any situation I couldn't handle. Sometimes it was tough but usually when you mentioned that you're virgin, they backed off.

Yes, I am one of them. Like you said, it's tough but stay on track and keep your mind focused on other things and it won't be so tough after all. I think it's really cool to give your virginity to your spouse. It makes the relationship really strong. Keep it up =D

i was a proud virgin until recently (got raped). it sucks big time!!! i was saving it for marriage as well, and this fool took advantage of me. I wish i'd gave it up to someone, at least it would have been my choice.

Not a virgin but congrats you should be proud your not as weak as some
