I have shoulder length hair and want to get side swept bangs. What is a good length for side swept bangs?

I've never had side swept bangs, but my friends have and they all said don't get it too long, like in your eyes. I see them constantly flicking it back and they said that it gets quite annoying. Especially since it is only shoulder length it won't have to be too long.

i have side swept bangs and shoulder lengths hair. about 2-2 1/2 inches works for me because they're long-ish but doesn't get in your eyes at all.

if you want them shorter, just past your eyebrows

mid-length- just below your eyes or just below your ears

longer- just below your chin, so they curl under a little


any length should suit shoulder-length hair,though. I personally keep my shoulder-length hair all one length (so i can part it on the side or in the middle) It all depends on what you're comfortable with.
