Hospice folks are WONDROUS! I hope they all end up sitting at the right hand of God!

Yes, I'll pray for her. I wish that she hadn't been another inexplicable sad example of when bad things happen to good people.

Absolutely, consider it done; tell your sister
that to be absent from this flesh is to be present with the Lord; tell her she will be free of all the pain and she need not worry even for a moment; she will be in very good hands, as I am sure you know full well.
God bless her, and the rest of your family;
this is a very difficult time, but its obvious that the strength of the Lord is with you, and thats all you need.
I understand the pain of your loss, though;
I lost my daughter to a failed heart transplant last year. I keep wondering whether I told her everything I wanted to before she passed; make sure you tell your sister everything you need to say to her,
okay? Try to stay with her because she is so afraid - whatever you do, don't let anything else come before you being there with her. Don't let her go without someone
holding her hand - someone in the family -
you if at all possible, since you haven't mentioned mom or dad in your post.
Anyway, I am praying for all of you. Stay strong, and God Bless you.

I have prayed for her to be released from her suffering. God bless you. Hope this little poem will help as you and your family say good bye to your dear sister.

God looked around His garden and He found an empty place, He then looked down upon this earth, and saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful. He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering, He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again.

He saw ttat road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered "Peace be thine".

It breaks our hearts to lose you, but you don't go alone. For part of us goes with you when God calls you home.

JC - First I will pray for you to have the comfort of Jesus with you as you face another day. Remind your sister of all the wonderful things waiting for her in heaven. Ask her why she is afraid? Tell her Jesus is with her now and will be there to carry her to heaven. How wonderful. How lucky she is. How life is hard but Jesus is Love. Hang in there JC. Let me know how things go.

I am praying with you.

The Wounded Surgeon plies the steel
that questions the distempered part,

Beneath the bleeding hands we feel
The sharp compassion of the Healers art

Resolving the enigma of the fever chart.

.......................................................................

I have seen the moment
of my greatness flicker,

And I have seen the Eternal Footman
hold my coat,
and snicker,

And in short,
I was afraid.

- T.S Eliot

Remember that when Jesus faced suffering personally, he reacted much as we do - with fear and dread.

God is victorious over death, and He understands.
He is there for you.

Absolutely. My prayers are with you and your loved ones. Most of us have had loved ones in hospice at some point due to cancer. Rest assured His prescence and His peace will guide her safely on her journey to Heaven.
