I love Washington, DC! I live on the West Coast, and my husband and I visit DC every November. It's such a great city, with so much history and stuff to do. And there are some great restaurants there, too.
I always feel safe in DC, and I have walked all over the city by myself when my husband is in a conference during the day. The museums and monuments are free to visit, and the METRO is very easy to ride and get around on. It's a great city!

I live in dc. It is nice place to live. love the Metro train. You can go all over the place. Virginia, Maryland. And it does not cost a lot. The only thing i don't like is the summer. Today it was 98. Real hot. But this is washington dc weather.

I love the DC area.. The is so much for you and your family to do...Regardless, if you were born and raised in DC or just visiting for a week...
And, the night life is the best and so are the men....

There's no place better in the summer (other times of year are good too); lots to do for free or minimal costs i.e museums; open air concerts; sit by the water and read a book, sit by the water and have a drink; the list is endless.

I love it! I do business in that area all the time and get to travel all over the city, which is beautiful and has tons of things to do. My kids both ended up living there, and love it as well. Although it does tend to be expensive.

washington dc is cool. good places to eat. go to gorgetown for lots of shopping. you can walk around the mall

Went there once and hopefully again soon! I love touring places with so much history tied to it! I was definitely not bored!

Ive always loved it more than any other place---I moved back to PA from there---and miss it soo much--cant wait to go back!

If you enjoy the possibility of being mugged, you'll love DC. It's the dirtiest, most gang-ridden, drug infested city I've ever visited.
