Pusillanimous is a good one. It means:
1. lacking courage or resolution; cowardly; faint-hearted; timid.
2. proceeding from or indicating a cowardly spirit.

I first learnt it from John Osborne's play "Look Back in Anger" and have found it very useful for describing certain people and behaviour.

Get a copy of a dictionary, on line there are tools available use them.

Buy a copy of "Thesaurus" it gives more then one word with similar meanings.

In word it is under tool, then language and then Thesaurus
