I have a pretty good idea of who is going to be in the top three. I have just have been having problems determining the order of finish when playing trifectas and quinellas.

the trifecta box for a $1 bet will be a six dollar bet total. in regards to exacta - quiniela, well, check to see if you got a longshot in the 3 you like. exacta wise the box is a great play, but if you got the three favorites, then the quiniela would be the better play. always check out the will pays on the exacta and quinielas b/c you might find a sleeper somewhere in the three that you like. also a good idea is to bet your longshot out of the three you like to win and place. that way if the horse you bet wins, and you dont win the other bet, you got something coming back at ya and you might even turn a nice little profit too!

No winners today but the answer to your question is Die Hard the 1961 York Ebor winner.(if this was trivial pursuit I would be at the top of he leaderboard lolx do I get a bonus point for answering both questions) keep 'em coming.......... anyway back to the drawing board and hoping for some winners tomorrrow. Well done Steve R for beating my horse by a nifty head x..Would have had a nice double up if he had won as I backed Puddleduck at 8-1 in the race before just because I was taking my daughter to the station this morning and there was a car in front of me with 'Puddleducks Childrens Nursery' written on it (had to do it so didn't lose all today)... Still a long way to go, here are my 3 hopefuls:- 1.45 ..... ANHAR 2.15 ..... AKMAL ((nap)) 2.50 ..... TEMPLE MEADS 3.25 ..... MARTYR 4.05 ..... CHOOSE WISELY 4.40 ..... ADMIRE THE VIEW Good luck all and well done to all with winners today...Jac x

The best thing to do is to box the trifecta. That way, it doesn't matter what order the 3 come in. good luck.

To be honest with you unless I have a true favorite (mine not the odds makers) I just box them. This way you don't have to pick 1-2-3, just WHICH 3.

As for a Quinells I don't play them, I just do an exacta box. Paysout better.

just chart your races for a week...in order of their odds...lowest 1st and so on....then write down what pick wins the most races....
good luck.....
