I know this sounds kinda gross/whatever, but the last couple of weeks I've noticed my butthole really itches(off and on). After passing feces this morning I took a shower. In the shower I was cleansing myself and noticed my butthole itched so I tried to wash it with some soap. I felt something coming out of my butt, almost just like a small narrow bubble, it definately felt like something fleshy/something that is supposed to be there...but should probably be internal. I've come up with the following reasons for why this is there...and I'm wondering which one/if any of them are right:
1. It is an infection, I should have a doctor see it
2. After a large bowel movement it probably just popped out but should pop back in
3. It's always been there but I've never noticed it

It sounds as if you have a hemorrhoid. Hemorrhoids are akin to large varicose veins at the anal opening. Here are some temporary measures: Try more fiber in your diet or some Metamucil or Citrucel etc. to soften your stool. Don't strain to have a bowel movement. Try sitz baths, sitting in a tub of very warm water. Bathe after a BM, and apply a dab of Vaseline Intensive Care to your anus. Consider Preparation H or similar.
If no improvement after about two weeks, definitely see your doctor or a proctologist. Most definitely do this if you have a family history of colon cancer.
Other causes of anal itching include pinworm infestation and proctitis secondary to a strep, staph or yeast infection.

Sounds like you have an external hemorrhoid. You may have strained to hard while making a bowel movememt recently. They make over the counter cream - preparation H that helps with the itching/inflammation. I know they sell it at Wal-Mart and probably other stores similar to that. I would try soaking in a warm/hot bath then applying some preparation H and seeing how you feel. It should go away on it's own, but if it doesn't you need to go see your doctor.

Probably a hemmorhoid or swollen blood vessel. Perhaps you strained when having a bowel movement. That could cause the itching or maybe you just didn't really clean that well. Try taking a warm (not hot) bath.
If it doesn't go a way in a day or two, see a doctor.

I agree with the people above. For temporary relief get a hemorroidal ointment and some "Tucks"

Good heavens you could have left out the last line... When you have rabies you usually foam at the mouth, not the butt!
