Do you mean other than M$-Excel or M$-Access?

Try the free, and M$-Office compatible, Open Office (Base module) from:
http://www.openoffice.org

Included: Writer (like Word), Calc (Excel), Impress (PowerPoint), Base (Access), Draw (M$-Paint) and Math

Just make sure that if you want others to be able to view the documents using M$-Office, save them using "Save as..." in Access format, instead of the default Open Office format. Or use the built-in PDF creation feature, for static reports, lists, etc.

For sharing, you will likely need to set up a File Server, but that's a whole other posting.
