i like her and all but she is going off to college and i still have another year of high school and she is living at college. and i have trouble keeping my mind on just her when she is around let alone across the city and at the same time she has been doing stuff lately that has jut been bothering me and i am not sure if i should wait it out longer or utillize the rest of my summer being single or have less tied down relationships if you know where i am coming from.. or just stick with this one becuase overall so far it is working out ok and there is nothing seriously wrong. like there is another girl i am interested in..and we are very good friends and like share similar personality traits and stuff but i am scared we wont have similar ideas about how a relationship should work. i am also really scared to hurt the girl i am giong with. i would feel terrible. if i do break up with her i will use the college excuse since that is the most understandable and she may not get as hurt by it

i dont think that you are breaking up with her because of college, be honest with youself. Dont hurt her by telling her about the other girl you like...just lie & say that its because shes going to college

Are you engaged? No? If not, then you're free to date others. And you never know, that other girl just *may* turn out to be the ONE. So find out, so you don't spend a lifetime wondering "What if?"

And if possible try not to let the college girl find out in the meantime that you're exploring this other possibility. That way, you can keep your options open.

HINT: Try not to date the other girl where friends of the first girl might see you together. Or you'll probably get ratted out.

I don't want to say to break up with her, but if you aren't happy anymore, don't make yourself miserable. If she is doing stuff that bothers you recently, maybe you two aren't right for each other. If I were you, I'd ask some of your friends or parents just for another opinion.

If your love for her is true love, you should not break up just because she has to move on as part of the education process! You can still find a way to be in touch with her!

Break up. Like a bandaid- right off! She will be urt, no matter why, but she willunderstand it better in time. Good luck, and honest and kind. And quick- let her cry with her friends or her Mom.

Definitely... break it off... get piece of mind. If it's meant for the both of you to be together, that will happen at a later time.

Well to be honest, it doesnt sound like youre really that into your gf, so id have to say you'd both be better off calling it a day and going your seperate ways.

You can always approach a maturity angle as well and that your lives are moving in two different directions
