I will never accept that a truly loving god would tell his followers that they are sinners from birth and use this fear to rule their lives with the threat of hell.

The fact that people on YA continue to bust each others chops, especially in this category! Can't we just agree to disagree and not get hostile over a (usually) simple question? Really! Can't we help each other out better by providing good answers to thought-provoking questions, rather than spewing sniping comments?

The idea of the trinity. Sorry to all those who believe this!! This isn't meant to be mean about it. I just don't believe it, and I never will.

Also, the idea that someone is less because of what they believe. Your beliefs are your beliefs, and who am I to say they are wrong? Believe as you will, and practice what you believe. That is your given right as a human. Just because I may not agree with you doesn't mean I think less of you as a person, it just means that we don't agree on something. That's fine. It doesn't make you less of a person in my eyes, in fact, I think we can all learn something from someone who doesn't believe the same as we do.

I'm never going to accept anything less of myself then the best I can do! If I do, I'm setteling and that isn't good.

Even though the Bible endorses and yes ENCOURAGES, rape, murder, sexism, bigotry, hatred, racism and a host of other atrocities----

I will never accept them. I am a bit of a "strange" Christian; some would not even term me a Christian at all. I believe in God, Jesus, Love, Peace, Knowledge, Understanding, Compassion, etc. Anything that doesn't stick with those values is out. That includes the Bible.

I will never accept the bible. even if god is proven to be real someday (and I'm not saying I dont think he is real now, just saying if it is ever proven) I will still not accept the bible. it was not written by god himself and it hes changed too many times for me to accept anything in it. I have owned a few bibles in my life so far and none were exactly the same. how can the word and the ways of god be written in so many different ways?

There's lots of things I know I am never going to accept. Child abuse, murder for any reason, war, hatred on any level, the list goes on and on and on.

When I was a kid I never planned on having to work for a living; well now I must accept it -- but there are three occupations I will never accept chef, doctor, or teacher.

I will never accept those occupations. Let somebody else do them

If you are referring to religion - it is highly doubtful that any religion will ever impress me enough to join up. But, Never Say Never, if you have an open mind (which I hope I do) then anything is possible.
