I am a real Southern girl, so when I think of breakfast, I think of bacon, scrambled eggs, homemade biscuits, and gravy. I usually make everything from scratch, but if you are not so inclined, you can purchase a box of "Bisquick" at the store and make your biscuits from that. The recipe is on the box. You can also get packets of breakfast gravy mix. These are quick and easy to fix.
Before you know it, you will be an old pro at Southern breakfast cooking. And, you know the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach (don't you believe it!).

Omelet in a Bag
This is for about 5 people, but adjust supplies to make for 1 person or somewhere inbetween. Enjoy :)
10 eggs
1 cup ham, chopped
1 cup bacon, crumbled
2 cups cheese, grated
1 cup tomatoes, chopped
1 cup hash browns (purchased and thawed)
5 servings 5 omelettes
1. Have everyone write their name on a quart-size ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker.
2. Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them.
3. Put out a variety of ingredients such as:.
4. cheeses, ham, bacon, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, etc.
5. Each person adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake. Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up.
6. Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelletes in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water.
7. Open the bags and the omelette will roll outeasily.
Serve with a side of toast and a glass of juice. :)

easy home-made non-fat and sugarless sorbet which tastes REALLY GOOD:
ingredients:
1/2 cup frozen fruit (frozen mixed berries are best)
2 tablespoons fruit juice
(optional: 1 ice cube.
hard to blend though)
what else you need:
a blender
or
***The Magic Bullet ($60 at Bed, Bath, and Beyond)
add all ingredients to blender, blend until slushy and then serve.
ENJOY!
You can also get the New York Times Cook Book or whatever the name is from some newspaper or magazine.
It has really simple and easy pancake recipes that take about 30 min.
