I recently instaled the new version of Zone Alarm. Logging on to my BB connection, which is BT, took approxiamately five to six minutes.
I have now turned Zone Alarm off and the BB connection is back to normal.
I have tried reinstaling the Zone Alarm twice but the results are still the same.
Can anybody help

I have tried quite a few actions from suggestions on several forums but none seem to work. I have now got rid of Zone Alarm and installed Comodo Pro.

It is a possibility that the BT desktop Help was the problem as that has affected the speed of my system. I am now discussing this with BT.

Thanks all for your suggestions Ardvick

After you have installed Zone Alarm, right click the icon in the tray and click "Restore ZoneAlarm Control Center". In Zone Alarm's main window, first check the "Firewall" settings, and then check "Program Control". In this window you can set Zone Alarm to act the way you want it to act.

thats odd.. should work no problems unless your blocking something that windows needs for the net..

you know them pop up windows did you say block all?

sounds more probable.

also depends how much memory etc your running.. less than 512mb could cause problems.

you have to let zonealarm settle.

it will be slow the first time you turn it on because its checking everything.
