Here's the backstory:

I've been talking to this girl I started working with at my summer job alot (she's 2 years younger than,18). We seemed to have hit it off, she has talked about me to my guy friends there, I've talked about her, we talk whenever we see each other (on Friday for almost half an hour).

So Friday after that little convo, I ask her for her number and her plans for the weekend. I told her there wasn't any rush (I'm swamped by kids, it's a day camp), and she kind of frantically called my phone to make sure I got her number before I left.

Alright, so after her early morning college class on Saturday, I was to call her to see what's up, well.. her class lasts alot longer than expected, then she apparently says she's going to visit family in Ardmore (a PA city) with her immediate family. Which is cool, but then I message her later that night about Sunday, and she never gets back to me (around 9 pm ish?).

Any and all insight is appreciated, hoping that maybe some of you have been in this kind of position before.

Thanks.

What's with all the sarcastic douchebaggery answers?

Is that the cool thing to do? Come online to yahoo answers and respond to questions like a jerk? Does it make you feel better about your life to try and make others feel bad about their vulnerabilities that they post as questions?

Serious answers only from now on please. Geez.

So you like a girl from the Mainline of Philly. Some of these girls are flighty. Call her after the weekend and if she still does not return your call or pursue the matter, forget about her.

If she went to visit family out of town, she's probably busy all weekend. All of those messages to her might make you look desperate and needy. Don't scare her off. Wait till you see her at work and let nature take its course. If it's meant to be, it will.
