Look for those tank toppy kind of athletic tops that hug your body and just provide a layer of protection from rubbing on the inside of clothes. Also give little more support than a t-shirt. Get some made of CoolMax. It's great stuff, wicks moisture and dries fast, easy to wash and not bulky like undershirts. Look at sports departments/stores.

With all the jumping you might do in training and exercises, just use what you'd use now going for a run, since a lot of bouncing is either no problem or a problem, depending on your sensitivity.
Salut!

It depends on the uniform and situaton. I have had a bad sunburn before and not worn a bra with my camoflauge uniform. You have to wear a black or brown shirt under and would not be able to see thru it. Between the t-shirt and overshirt you are will covered. Dress uniforms need a bra of some sort. You could wear a sports bra or camie maybe. Even with a small breast size I would wear a bra of some sort, you do not want them to get saggy!!

Being male, I can't really advise you on the bra issue.

However, I have two words for you: nipple chafing. Happens to guys too, you know. When your uniform gets soaking wet and you need to move around for a while, things start to get a bit uncomfortable. So you might want to consider the extra layer right up against your skin.

It is advised to wear a "civilian" bra with the dress uniform.

I know with the class A's a normal bra makes the uniform fit differently and you dont wnt t wear a sport bra with it.

Even if you lack size in the breast you need to wear a regular bra with the dress uniform.

As for in unifrom or pt, wear a sport bra. what harm can it do? and the little bit extra strap down will be more comfortable.

Yes you will have to wear proper under garments even if it's a sports bra. Don't worry about the male undershirt thing though....you will have to wear one of those every single day in uniform.

Sport bra, except during dress inspections. They may have a female check to see if proper under garments on. I never seen it done. But, they have the right to ... you're in the military.

If your wearing medals on a dress uniform, you may want protection from the clasp inside your shirt/blouse.

During wall locker inspections I use to have boxers on display. Even though I wore jockeys. I'm sure some things have changed since I was in.

I don't think anybody will checking you wear bra or not over seas. Under uniform and heavy gear, nobody can tell from one way or the other. Besides, everybody is so busy fighting the war, nobody even notice you are a woman.

I know marine regulations require females to wear bras in uniform...not sure about the other services, but I'm pretty sure they're the same.

You would have to wear a bra. A sports bra. Take it off after work.

Basic training you will have to and even possibly during the training for whatever job you pick, but after you get to your unit it will be up to you except for maybe during PT but I can't say for sure. Other than that, if your just in your service uniform or whatever it is completely up to you what you wear under it.
