Neutering your dog should not change your dogs personality or make him "less hyper" as some have said here. I'm saying this because I don't want you to not neuter your dog because he will be a changed dog. The benefits are:
1. Your dog will be less territorial and will be less likely to lift his leg in your house.
2. Will not try to escape from your yard when a female down the road is in heat.
3. Will not want to roam to breed and produce unwanted puppies.
4. Will help prevent your dog from certain malignancies
5. Will just be a better all around pet.
6. You will be a responsible dog owner.
7. You will be glad you did!!!

neutering or spaying your pets may have its benefits and non-benefits. I have a Brittany spaniel but i don't want to spay her because i plan to breed her. but some dogs can be very hyper and crazy when they meet other people or even dogs. that can be resolved by this operation. The dog can be much calmer and still be as loving and caring as it was before it was neutered. it also prevents a lot of diseases that the dog wouldn't have had when it wasn't neutered, for females, this can prevent cysts in the uterus and breast cancer. it can also improve your dogs lifespan.

By doing this, you will have a dog which will be a much better pet. Before neutering, your dog will be more interested in roaming to find girlfriends than if he has had this operation

They tend not to roam cutting down on chances of fighting, they will not sire unwanted offspring, they will not get testicular/prostate cancer/issues, they won't spray/mark the house won't be as aggressive/dominate...can you tell I'm a big fan of spay/neuter!!
