I thought this would give us all some additional choices for packing our lunches and to share our favorite sandwich.

Mine is 2 slices of Nature's Own Honey Wheat Bread (toasted) with Hellman's mayonnaise on each slice, 1 slice of American cheese and Green Pimento Olives scattered in-between the 2 slices with a cold glass of milk.

Instead of bread, we have been buying Flatout brand wraps. Here's our favorite.

CRACKED PEPPER TURKEY AND MOZZARELLA FLATOUT WRAP

1 Garden Spinach Flatout
1 ounce Fat Free Spicy Honey Mustard Dressing
1 handful baby fresh spinach (~1 cup)
2 tablespoons shredded carrots
5 thinly sliced fresh red peppers (~ 1/8” thick)
7-8 mild banana pepper rings
4 thinly sliced Sara Lee Cracked Pepper Breast of Turkey (~2.5-3 ounces)
1 slice Fat Free Mozzarella cheese

Spread dressing across the entire Flatout (spread evenly). On bottom rounded end layer: 1st spinach, 2nd carrots, 3rd pepper rings, 4th red peppers, 5th Turkey, 6th one strip dressing and 7th Mozzarella. Roll up tightly; cut and serve.

Nutritional info per serving (the entire wrap):
Total fat: 3.69 g Saturated fat: .54 g Calories: 378 Dietary fiber: 2.32 g

** If it wasn't a sandwich for lunch, i would choose a reuben but that is best served hot. At dinnertime we make reuben pizzas using a Flatout unrolled, and bake it in the oven.

For me, it's a toss-up between a Reuben and a Philly Cheesesteak.

My friend and I came up with a good idea one day when we got bored with the lunches we took to work every day. We started switching lunches. We'd take extra care to make a great lunch because it was for someone else, and we never knew what our lunch would be that day. It was fun and sure made those brown bag lunches less boring!

My fave is what I call the "alfalfa special". I like to use cucumbers, tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts, white (or purple) onions, romaine lettuce, veggie provolone cheese and garlic hummus on a whole wheat wrap or multi-grain flaxseed bread.
It's delish!

Take a ciabatta roll (or other chewy sandwich roll), cut in half, and spread cut sides with pesto. Pile on ham, provolone cheese, red onion slices, and watercress or arugula.

This is my invention, and my favorite sammy.

Might be expensive, but a bagel with (good quality) lox, cream cheese (light or regular), capers and onions.

Mmm.

Roast beef with provolone cheese and a tomato on multigrain bread with mayo.
