I agree with most of the postings here... pull him aside, state your piece, and let it die on the vine. It could be just a joke, and a missunderstanding. If it happens again, then bring it to your sisters attention.
With that out of the way...I have to ask, were you turned on?

Yes, you take him aside and tell him that was the first time and the last time he will ever get away with doing that. Remind him that he is your sister's husband and YOU are your sister's SISTER! You will thank him to never be disrespectful to your sister again. Walk away from him. No need at this point to make mention of this with your sister as you took care of the situation. If it should happen again then it should be spoken. Obviously this behavior was very offensive to you and stay the lady that you are. If the man apologizes there is some room to take your eyes off of him. If he laughs it off...NEVER TAKE YOUR EYES OFF OF HIM. It is imperative you look him right in the eyes while you make your statement...not shouting...just firm.

Even if he's joking. It's inappropriate and can lead to misunderstanding. I hope you reacted negatively or at least have given him a hint that it's not okay. But next time he tries something even close to that, make it clear that it's not okay. I would mention my concern to my sister that it bothered you and if he tries it again make sure that your sister tell him to stop. I have sisters and we've had some similar incident but it helps to know that the trust is there between us no matter what.

Tell your brother-in-law that you felt uncomfortable with his spanking and would appreciate it if he would never touch you like that again. He will probably respond with I was just joking, just like you said he was. You then need to let him know that joking or not it makes you uncomfortable and don't do it. If it continues tell his wife. This is sexual harassment if he continues after you have told him clearly not to do it.

pull him aside and inform him that you love a good joke as well as anyone else does, but that the spanking was out of line and don't cross that line again. tell him if he does inappropriate things again you will speak to you sister about it.

This is similar to something that has happened in my family - I have only 1 sister and I adore her. I warned HIM and since things have been fine. But if he ever crosses the line again - it will be ugly.

o little too close for comfort stop kidding around with him before you all take it in a total new direction and you lose your sister, dont tell her after all you was playing around with him too so she could think less of you start acting like your 30 and stop the playing before it backfires.

You were just playing, so i would do nothing. Did you get excited? did he get excited?, has he tried to spank you again?. Those are the questions you need to answer first before you talk to your sister.

It obviously bothered you, so you need to tell him that he was out of line. You could avoid having to tell your sister and upsetting her. Let him know, however, that you will tell your sister if his actions are repeated. If you feel guilty about not saying anything to your sister, go ahead and tell her.
