i'm not talking about etiquette, etc.
i'm talking about the way they eat, like... whether they eat slowly, savouring every bite and enjoying every taste... or whether they just rush and gobble their meals quickly towards their final goals.

does it necessarily describe how they behave behind closed doors?

Possibly. But I think their table manner -- speed of eating and all that -- says a lot about the way they live their life. If they bolt their food, they probably never stop and smell the roses. If they savor every bite, they probably are sensualists in other areas of their life (which may answer your question), and really slow down time and live in the moment quite a bit. Then there are those who are the last to finish their meal because they talk all through the meal. Those people, in my experience, are usually self-absorbed and shallow. Most time, they don't take time out to eat because they are talking so hard about themselves to anyone who'll listen.

Good question! I am a very slow eater, always usually the last person to finish and interestingly enough I like to take things slowly and sensually in the bedroom. So there could be some truth!

That's a good comparison. Also, if they are rude to the waiting staff, demanding and loud...that is how they will treat you when you are in the position of meeting their needs, whether it be in bed or in a steady relationship. We've all met people that nothing seems to be "good enough" for, they're usually just as demanding of partners, lovers and friends.

Of course , love has many other ways to measure not by food but by happiness and the feeling of satisfaction on their faces as appearances are deceptive
