If this is their third marriage, I would hope they are not registering again. By now they should have just about everything covered. Seeing as their divorce rate is quite high, I would stay away from anything engraved with the wedding date. A gift certificate to a nice restaurant would be a good idea. Then again, a gift certificate for marriage counseling may be an even better idea.

A gift certificate or gift card of some type. Most couples I know that have gotten married more than once request no gifts since they are already established with all the home stuff they need. But one thing I got for my wedding that was fun was a gift certificate to a specialty kitchen store. Any specialty store would be fun and something they would remember. But I can tell you this....they definitely do not need more "STUFF".

Any couple with 4 marriages between them total, who makes out a registry, has a set of brass ones. If they don't already have everything they need, something is very wrong with them.
A gift certificate to a restaurant, or a linens store would be fine. $25 or so. They probably need new sheets (ok I won't go any further with that one, but I couldn't resist).

well, since this IS a third marriage for each of them, this could require just a bit of creativity. what are their interests? gift certificates are always good - for a restaurant they LOVE, or something which fits into their interests. we just gave a certificate for sushi at an upscale sushi place, along with japanese table settings, along with chopsticks, rests, the whole works. of course the couple was very 'into' sushi.
is there something like that with this couple? is there something, anything they are 'into'? if you can identify it, then work from there.
one of the most thoughtful gifts my honey gave me was a framed print of a picture of jazz musicians! it wasn't expensive, but it was something i was interested in.
if you have, or can get some pictures of the couple - random shots, candid shots, then putting them into an album or a collage framed picture might work. have a characature made of them. do something with their monogram,
basically, don't remind them of other, previous marriages, that was then, this is now!

People who are getting married for the third time---do not need a gift. Get them a bottle of $10 champayne-(Spumante) and let them go home. Give them a hug and the least said the better. Do not say I hope this marriage works this time. (Rude)..

They probably have most everything they "need"... so get them something fun they may not already have! Like, a digital picture frame... or a Roomba, the vaccuum that cleans on it's own... or something for entertaining like barware and an expensive bottle of liquor.

A gift certificate to there favorite import store, this way they can add something to there home that they don't have that will still be unique, also annual passes for two to there favorite amussement park can be great too, you would be amazed at how many couples enjoy the park when its just the two of them.

How about a gift certificate to a nice restaurant or a movie and ice cream afterwards. Not both...
