I've known my best friend Brock for almost 11 years now. I'm 17 & he's 21. our parents were high school & college buddies. me and Brock have so much fun 2gether & we really love each other. i just don't know if we should "go out" 'cause of our age difference.

At 17, a 4 year age difference is not bad. I'd say stay away if he was lots older than you... but this isn't a huge difference at this point. At 12 and 16 it would have been.

Also, you've known each other a long time. That means you've developed a strong knowledge of each other to base your relationship on. The more you know a person, the better you can judge if the relationship is right for you.

You say you have much fun together, so you sound compatible.
I'd say go out with him.

Yea, if you like him. It is okay to date someone older when you are around 18 or more. It is a bit sick when you are 13, and he is 16. That's sick to me. But your case is just fine. Go for it
