no need to fret my friend. remember God"s very own people the Isrealites went aginst him several differant times. they worshipped idols and even picked up rituals of the pagans which included sacrificing their own children to pagan Gods, now you can't get much worse than that. remember the saying "everyone did was right in his own eyes" and "there is not one rightous person no not one".then again his own people rejected his son Christ. what you are seeing is not uncommon to what occurred thousands of years ago. remember the israelites told moses they would rather go back to egypt than be subjected in the woods eating manna all the time. now this was when the very site of God stood before them in the form of a cloud above them and God also spoke directly to them before he began using prophets. now how bad is that when God is before you and you say man this aint workin lets go back to that dreaded place we were in. there will always be ney sayers but believe it or not it's not as bad as some of the biblical times when people laughed , mocked and scorned religion and christianity.

If you want to discsuss Christianity without hearing the opposing views, this is hardly the forum. If you don't like the answers you are getting, maybe you need to stop asking the questions.
The rules of Christianity are not always practical here on modern-day Earth. Since I've never seen even the tiniest bit of evidence that your God really exists and therefore don't believe there is a Heaven to go to, I have to do what is right and what makes sense here and now If that conflicts with what you bleieve, I'm sorry but I want to do the right thing for the people I'm dealing with and not some god I don't even believe in. If God has a problem with what we're doing here, then maybe he should step in and do something about it. If he wants us to follow his rules maybe he should make sure that we know what his rules are. Even most Christians disagree on what God wants and the other religions have very different ideas altogether.

no longer each and every of the gospels have been written via Jews. Luke became a gentile. The early Christians weren't pagans who worshipped Jesus. The trinity became no longer made up yet. there have been many fake messiahs, so the early Christians have been no diverse than the different gullible Jew who fell for the fake messiahs claims. Christians are mostly pagans now, so if a Jew believes Jesus he's likewise a pagan. Jesus has no longer something to do with Judaism, in basic terms like Buddha has no longer something to do with Christianity. To have faith Jesus is the messiah is to reject G-d for the reason that G-d made it clean in the Tanakh(previous testomony) who the messiah is and what he will do. Jesus did no longer something, infact he dousnt even come close to to installation the define of the messiah. It even says in the gospel that Jesus broke the sabbath, insulted his mom and permit a woman touch his legs. fairly obvious he's no longer the messiah.

Dear Fellow Jesus Freak
I totally get what you are saying.
Please do read 2 Cor. 4 verse 4.
I am also new to this site, and were just as appalled by the lack of respect atheists have for God or other peoples beliefs for that matter.
The best advice I was given is to ignore them.
I must admit this is a pretty hard thing to do, not because they keep ridiculing the Christians and our Saviour, but because it is so very heart-breaking, that for every answer, there lies a lost soul behind it.
It is still your choice whether you should stick around or not, but there are indeed some real Christian people on here who might appreciate your input.
As this world is run by the prince of darkness, we must accept that they will be here.
And for the time being, so will I.
And you will find that by these peoples comments and choices, they are actually achieving the opposite of what they are trying so hard to do.
It has only strengthen my compassion, prayers and relationship with Christ.
Wear your armour and keep it up!

You, Sir, are in serious need of a reality check.
I much prefer verifiable truth to your unsubstantiated superstitions. The human species must discard its childish fantasies if we are ever to grow up. Perpetually groveling before the religious monsters which live only in our imagination will prevent humanity from ever reaching its full potential. We are NOT "...Satan worshipers posing as atheists and pagans who are trying to ruin this forum." We ARE actual atheists and pagans fighting hard to save the human race from people like you!!
Let's be perfectly clear about this. Those who love truth and knowledge will NEVER surrender to the forces of ignorant superstition, because the future of the human species and the planet we occupy is at stake. Science has the power to move the human race into the future, while religion can only drag us back into the past.

And why can't you leave others to their beliefs? If other people dont want to worship your god why do you keep trying to force it one them?
You claim people to be satanists posing as pagans etc.. Yet here you are saying "JESUS CHRIST IS THE TRUTH!" yet we have naught but your 2000 year old religion to state that.. Grow up ok?
The devil nor god have anything to do with mankind, it is mankinds own instinct to go higher than the next person, hence why even your beloved church has been corrupted since before the dark ages.
Even Sir Thomas Aquinas was removed from the church because he was 'caught' practising a form of black magick at the time, which is basically using the bible as divination, yet the bible states what is to be with the book of revelation... Isnt that divination in itself?
You want your religion to speak true, but it doesnt, your using blind faith in here, trying to tell others they are wrong, yet you expect no back biting?
Sorry, but if someone tells me i am wrong, instinct tells me to ask proof, you can not provide proof so stop bitching about how people are going to hell for rejecting him...

The only part of your question that perplexes me is that it seems that you're assuming that every answer you give is one that comes directly from the LORD JESUS CHRIST and not simply from you. Perhaps people sense this self-righteousness in your responses and are turned away by them? Perhaps if you offered an answer that did not seem as if you were speaking for the ONE TRUE GOD and just speaking as yourself, people might take you more seriously. There are far too many people out there who think they are sanctified and speaking FOR God, or AS God, when in fact they are just as clueless as the rest of the people asking the questions.
Just because one attends church, does not mean you are able to answer all questions IN JESUS' NAME. It simply means you go to church.
You consider this to be "mocking" you and your faith, however it would seem someone who uses the LORD as a mouthpiece to give their own personal opinions is doing more damage than someone who "mocks" another's faith. Just try to remember these people are not "vehemently denying" the answers of GOD, they are denying the answers of YOU.
There's a big difference there, and I would think being a saved, born-again, child of God...you would have known this.
Love,
Snag

Gen 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savor; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
Remember, even tho' we are given a measure of faith when we are born, we are born with the sin NATURE. Sin is rebellion agains God. So until we come to the truth, we are rebellious to God, His ways, and His people

If I were a devil worshipper, I would tell you. I have nothing to hide. I am an atheist, pure and simple. Accept this, or do not, it makes no differance. As for people picking stupid answers, this is Y!Answers, not bible college. In most cases you aren't exactly getting the cream of the crop here ya know, theist or non theist.

One of the aspects of following Jesus Christ that isn't talked about much is responsibility. As a child of God it is true that my sins are forgiven, but I must accept responsibility for those sins and ask for forgiveness.
It seems that people today want to blame their childhood, their wife, their job or even the dog. They sure don't want to accept the responsibility for the choices they make.
