HELP! I AM 5'6 150 very small.....when i played football i weighed 165 im trying to put more weight on (in the form of muscle) however, in order to gain weight i have to eat more which makes it hard to get ripped (six pack,etc) is it even possible to build muscle mass and also lower body fat??? maybe im not eating the right things?

well the obvious way to build muscle mass is to work out! this will burn up the fat but build muscle. I don't think food would have that much effect

Yes but it is extremely hard to do,Thats why most body builders builk up during winter time and get cut during summer time. I guess if you were to try it though Eat regular and lift more so that you have a low intake, It would take forever to get any bigger this way though best bet is just to do like everyone one else.

Food has little to do with it. Obviously, you want to have a healthy diet. But, working out will both burn up fat and convert those calories to muscle.
