Two boys use to there own room...Now they share a room ..two families moved in as one situation...next to building a mansion for the eight of us..(6 kids total..yes brady bunch)..any way to keep the fighting to a controlable level...

Nope. When you have that many personalities all in one place fighting will ensue.
I have 6 kids myself all in one small house. It can be hectic. We just try to remember to not butt in on every disagreement (they have to learn to deal with each other, as well as other people) and that they are all different and to appreciate that.
When it gets to hectic or too much just remember that one day they will all be gone and you are going to miss that noise and craziness.

It can work if you put a little effort into it.
Check out some websites like www.bhg.com for ideas on shared spaces and room dividers that have multiple uses.
Giving each kid their own space, even when that space may be small, can help alleviate a lot of stress.

My Mom and Dad built a 'wall' to keep us separated. They constructed it from strand board and 2X2's. There was an opening at the top and the bottom because the walls werer higher than the board, but it worked. It kept my mess on my side, my sister's mess on her side.

If it's a short-term situation, I'm sure they can handle it!
If not, perhaps divide the room in half with tall furniture.

Make some rules and enforce them. But there will still be bickering, ignore that, to some degree. They are most likely competing for attention.

Make the rule, if they can't get along, then they just don't talk to eachother AT ALL, and if they do they lose something. Give them the option to come to you and tell you they will get along so they can talk again.
