Manda, I know it's difficult with everything going on, but you really do need to be patient on this. There is no reason to worry.
The first couple of days in a new country are busy and disorienting. The military tries to pack a lot of stuff in it on top of that. He probably hasn't even seen a phone he can use yet.
He may not be able to call for a day or two, even three.

By the time you read all these he may have called. Just for example, I flew from Florida, to Japan, plane broke down, 8 hours later while still on plane, we took off, arrived in Korea, was in a crowd shuffled from here to there for an other 4 hours, then at 3 am was placed on a train for a 4 hour trip south finally to arrive at a station with no clue where to go from there, finally got picked up and processed into new company. So basically it took almost 24 hours until I could call home. Don't worry he's fine and just be happy he's been stationed in Korea and not some other location.

Lol, I'd give it awhile. Probably no longer than 2 days. Take into consideration jetlag, customs checks, unpacking, moving equipment, etc. Plus depending where he's at, the phone situation might be less than desireable. When we got to Okinawa we had all that crap to go through then when we finally got the time to use a phone there were lines out the @ss because everyone wants to call their wife/girlfriend.

Yes, he is able to call. When I was PSCing to Okinawa I landed in Korea right before and I called my sponsor in Okinawa so they'd know I'd be there in a few hours.
BUT it is a long flight, and depending on what base he's going to it could be a little bit of a drive. He may want to get settled in. And it may take him a few days to get phone service in his room and there are phones in the common rooms, but I don't know. Just don't get upset with him, you'll have regular contact soon and that'll make you feel a lot better. It's hard when they are traveling.

I know when I got off the plane it was find my stuff, then figure out where I had to go and get there and report in. Then they took me to my dorm and I dropped of my stuff and back to the squadron and got signed in. Then my duty section came and got me and showed me around. I landed at 8 am and by the time I was done and mind you wiped out from the flight and everything that needed to be done it was 4pm. So it could very easily be the next day you hear from him. Don't worry!

no don't be worried at all. things may not have gone as he planned so things just might take longer. he's fine! you are under enough stress as it is, try not to freak about this. your husband is perfectly ok. my fiance didn't call for like 3 days when he first landed overseas. you are important to him, but he has a job to do first. so just calm down and things will be ok

don't worry. after he lands he will have to get to his new post and check in at h.q., then he has to get assigned to a battalion/ company. then your husband has to check in with his new platoon leaders and get assigned his barraks#. also depending on what your husband does in the armed forces there could be other stops and checks before he finally gets to the phone. the time zone will also effect his call and the status alert of his post. dont worry though, after the hustle you will be first on his agenda...

good grief, he's probably jet lagged to no end, he's being processed in. he will call when he has five minutes to himself.
he probably got in, got picked up and driven to the processing station, checked in and whatnot, got shuttled all over the darn place with in processing and he's probably crashed in the Barracks. let the man get settled first.

Give it a rest manda, he'll call. its like anything else in the military, hurry up and wait. Your plane lands, hurry up and wait, you get baggage, hurry up and wait, you take a bus, hurry up and wait ...... you get the idea. when his thoughts are collected, he's settled down, he'll give you a call.
