Jesus was well aware of what was ahead of him,but did nothing to elude or avoid capture. I totally disagree with you on why he died. Does it make any sense that an all loving God would demand it?Does it make any sense that somehow an innocent persons death would cleanse our sins?no, it doesn't make sense because its not sensible. Jesus permitted the event to take place to show that death is not real.He was destroying an illusion the same as he did with disease.

Christ was a born sacrifice for the sins that Adan & Eve brought to man. Jesus knew way befor hand what it was He had to do. Yes He was a willing sacrifice. He gave no resistance at all. He never said a word in His defence at the trial or anything. He went willingly. He was and wasn't taken in a sense of the matter.

Let me be clear. If you think and believe Jesus offered his life for you, that is fine with me. I hope you enjoy it. But I have nothing to do with it. Please do not try to extend your beliefs into my life. Should you come with some convincing proof, I will reassess my point of view. Untill then I will consider any action with his offer on my private life as harassment.
In the future, please rephrase your question into something like this:
Why do people say Jesus gave his life for the sins of the people who believe in him and in everything that is proclaimed in his name by the leaders of their denomination?
My answer would be: because he and/or the leaders of the denominations said so in the first place!
No thanks.
Have a very nice Day, with a some Rain in the morning and a lot of sunshine the rest of the day.
I love you all, sins or no sins.

First, I don't go to church or any of that stuff. I'm not very religious. But, if you do any Bible search you will find that Jesus said, you don't take my life, it was for this very reason I came, I lay my life down. I don't know exactly where this is. In the Gospels somewhere. There are many references to Jesus coming in the Old Testament and that of His GIVING Himself as a sacrifice for sin and yet at the same time it took human hands to put Him on the cross.
So, it was predestined that He do so, in order that mankind's sins be dealt with. (The penalty of sin is death). He paid the penalty as a free gift. so, mankind, coming to Him as a sinner, will have direct access because the separation that separates man from God (sin), no longer exists, it is through the cross and shedding of blood that mankind can have unfettered access to God. Or something close to that

Your reaction to answers depends upon your attitude towards sin and dealing with it. If you believe that you do things that are wrong (sin) and that one day you will be judged and condemned for it then Christ’s sacrifice begins to make sense. But if you do not believe this then Christ is irrelevant to you. Christ could easily have avoided going to the cross - no problem - he had the power to do this. His sacrifice was to enable you avoid condemnation and an unpleasant future in hereafter.

Because you have missed something very important in the Bible (assuming that you are using it as your referrence):
When Jesus was being taken and when he was on the cross, others said the same sinful accusation that you are making here.
He said that he DID have the power to release himself, All he had to do is cry to heaven an legions og angels would come to his rescue. In the Garden, when asked if he was Jesus, he simply said. "I AM" and the soldiers fell down backwards!
Jesus allowed himself to be 'taken', that is how he gave himself, willingly!

Because no one has taught them any better.
God is quite capable of forgiving our sins without any kind of sacrifice. I mean He’s GOD, for god’s sake!
People needed the sacrifice. Remember when it happened. Not only was sacrifice a everyday occurrence, but it was the Law.
Humans would have never believed that their sins were forgiven without blood running.
People limit God and bring Him down to human level. It’s easier to understand God that way. I just wish folks would realize that God has no limits. He can do whatever He wants.
Jesus understood that people needed a sacrifice to believe in God’s forgiveness. So he allowed himself to be the sacrifice.
Even though He knew His sacrifice was unnecessary, he allowed it anyway so we could feel, “Saved”, and get, “born again”.
This action shows me quite clearly that God and Jesus loves me beyond any human understanding.
Blessed Be

God the Father is righteous (simply); obviously, flawlessly simply. You might not ever meet His needs for justice to your possess. He gave you existence and all you've got. He has each proper to call for perfection. You want a sacrifice that He will be given; that most effective He might furnish. If He begets a Son who's ultimate in each approach, sinless, because the Father in Heaven is, most effective then might there be a sacrifice gigantic adequate to pay for all of your sins, even the sins of as many as believe in Him. That Son proved He was once totally God by way of elevating Himself from he useless (John two:19-21). Jesus turns into your ultimate sacrifice whilst you believe His sufferings at the go took the punishment your sins deserved. Jesus by myself is the Father’s appointed approach for making men and women proper with Him. Only Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice is gigantic adequate to utterly fulfill the simply needs of the Father in Heaven that you simply be ultimate as He is ultimate. Without the Savior, you haven't any wish, none! Receiving the Father’s forgiveness starts whilst you confess your sins to Him and switch from them. Ask His forgiveness. He will. Then believe Jesus took the punishment your sins deserved, on His go. Jesus shared totally within the nature and substance of God the Father. The sacrifice that Jesus, God the Son, made at the go was once gigantic adequate to guarantee all who believe in Him will acquire everlasting existence and be empowered by way of the Holy Spirit to do what He instructions. It is why such a lot of folks love and serve the Savior with a ardour. So are you able to! It is real existence-reworking! Here’s what the Bible says to be proper with God, John 6:28-29; Romans two:four-five; James two:10; Romans three:23-24; Hebrews nine:27; one million John one million:eight-nine; Acts three:19; Romans five:eight; Romans 10:nine-10; Romans 10:thirteen; Ephesians two:eight-nine; two Corinthians five:21; one million Peter two:24; one million Peter three:18; John three:sixteen-18; John three:36; one million John five:eleven-thirteen

I believe as far as the Christians are concerned, they believe Jesus could have asked God to get him out of a jam. Since he didn't, they believe he "gave" his life. Of course, they neglect the little idea that human sacrifice is expressly forbidden in the Torah - but then the vast majority of them have no idea what sacrifices were required for sin offerings there, either.

Jesus did give His life for our sins, including those who killed him.
Yes, He was murdered; however, Jesus did have more than one opportunity to avoid being murdered.
He knew who was going to betray Him, who was going to deny Him, He knew when His time was near, yet He did nothing to even try and change the outcome.
This was predestined, the ultimate forgiveness I believe is forgiveness of murder. As Jesus was dieing He asked His Father, Who is everyone's Father "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!" then He said "It is done."
Thus now, we are washed in the blood of Jesus, washing away our sins by His sacrifice of His life.
