Not to mention the invasion of what is now Canada. That loss hardly gets mentioned in our U.S. schools.

I am with "Tom" on this one.

Plus the fact that it all about business, weapons sales, interventions, rebuilding, policy and treaties making.

The United States have the spirit of the builders, "Freemasons" who are still working closely related to the Israelite false royalty.

That spirit has been going on since ages even since the Sumarian race.

There was somebody who wrote a book about the USA being seen by many as The New Jerusalem (good to observe that Christopher Columbus's trip was about 40% a Jewish endeavor"), while others have written that That it is the rebirth of Atlantis. Other that it is the Spiritual Babylon and Spiritual Egypt.

All of it is interesting to study, since Jesus went in the spirit plane the nations seem to be reclassified according to the spiritual force that moves it) I believe USA has the power to be one of the most divinated countries in the world, but the pride of power, money, and the weakness of international righteous policy making is bring it just to be the opposite.

I don't think that this question is in the wrong category. in the bible is spoken about wars too.

The people of the USA do not want to WIN the war.. only change the world.. and that can be done even when you lose...

Vietnam is a special case.. we were supporting a very small government because of treaties.. even when most of the Vietnam citizens hated the government leaders.

Maybe it's because they are divided on the issue... without the support of the people, the country can't do much. And if they aren't rallied around an single ideology or belief then it makes them weaker. This is especially true for warfare! If a people are behind their country and its military action then it is much more likely to succeed! Allah (God) knows best!

We are operating under the delusion that you can conduct war in a nice humane way. So what is happening is we are winning all the battles and losing the big fight because we never demoralize the enemy.

The Americans / US politicians lack what you may call "the imperial drive", which means they are not ruthless enough in the domination of other people.
