no. I think jesus would be all about communism. Minus the inevitable corruption.

Communal ownership is not at all diametrically opposed to Christianity. In fact strictly speaking you're not supposed to own anything - Christ is very clear that one must give away everything one has and encourages his Apostles to live a very frugal life. Remember the saying "It is harder for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God". Christ is anti-materialism: "Man shall not live on bread alone".
Christ would not be keen on Communism because it has no spiritual dimension, but he may well have approved of its ideals of social justice, equality, communal living and an end to exploitation of the poor, weak and needy. In fact many have commented that Communism, or at least Socialism, is fundamentally Christian inspired, even though it has no belief in God or the Spirit.
Aside from its lack of any spirituality, what Christ would also not have appreciated would be the removal of human rights which has gone with Communism in all its forms in the past.
But whatever criticism he would have had of Communism he would also have been against rampant Capitalism. Riches, wealth, millions of dollars and the exploitation inherent in that he would have also been against. Ultimately Communism and Capitalism identify the material as the only important factor in life. That Christ would have been completely against.

If you read the book of Acts, the early church was of a communist-type model.
Stalin-style communism Jesus would call evil.
In the Christian style of communism, the LEADERS are the greatest servants.
In Godless communism, corrupt men are in charge, and lord it over the masses, spending up to 40% of their GNP on military expenditures to keep up with democratic nations who only spend 6% on their military.
Meanwhile, the people starve. In North Korea, the people are encouraged to eat grass. How pathetic. Look at a satellite photo of North Korea during night time. Almost the whole nation is black. They have no electricity.
Also, communism must be approved by ALL, not the majority. You cannot force it on someone. In The Bible, members of the early church sold everything they had and gave it to Peter and the elders to distibute to the less fortunate ones. and if you really STUDY The Bible, 'charity' is not doled out to worthless bums, only the sick, the elderly, widows, etc.
Paul said if you don't work, you don't eat. Sensible enough.
I hope this sheds some light on your question.

Depends on what you mean by communism.
The authoritarianism, by people anyway, would be out. But that really isn't Communism, just feudalism with pseudo-socialist trappings.
The early christians practiced a sort of weak communism, engaging in cross class communal meals. Some of the epistles of Paul deal with the upper class members arriving early and eating all the food and getting drunk before the working stiffs arrived to get their share. Paul was pissed. Said it beggared the whole point of the practice.
The charitable aspects of jesus' teachings are more in line with communism than the callous social darwinism of unmoderated capitalism.
Communal ownership is more jesus' style, but less like the authoritarian hierarchical chritianity that has been erected on his myth. Suppose it depends on what you mean by christianity, jesus' philosophy or the clerical tyranny that has usurped his name.

Communism without God is one thing, but Communism with God is completely different...Communism was originally intended to make people equal because of the terrible things that Marx saw the poor go through during the Industrial Revolution. It was intened to have a good cause, but the problem is that Communism is a very tempting government for those in charge because they become God in a sense...they decide what's equal and they usually have all the power and wealth. I think that's why it always fails, because it relys on the 'basic good of man' which doesn't really exist since we know that man is corrupt and has been since the Garden of Eden...basically no one's perfect but they're expected to be...so it's kind of hard to intertwine the two, that is God and Communism, because of this. It's nearly impossible to have a Godly Communism; Karl Marx was a practicing evolutionist to, so he believed in what was called survival of the fittest...a scary thought and not what God would want at all, in my opinion. God made everything and everyone, therefore everyone and everything had significance, and Communism doesn't allow for that.

No. The Christians aren't getting it. Jesus was all about the people, and so is Communism.
The problem is that a bunch of Christian idiots really can't seem to separate religion and state.
They don't seem to understand that Communism is not a religion, it is a political organisation. Just like Democracy. Communism is political, it is not a religion.
Its like saying that Democracy is Christian which is a total lie.
Atheism is NOT Communist. Atheism is "no god".
Some people need to get an education so badly, its mindboggling. They should have been taught this in high school.

Communism forces the spreading of wealth and resources. Jesus is all about the heart. He encourages followers to have a heart that is generous and loving. History has proved that communism does not work.
Having a heart that is humble before God and loves their neighbor as themselves does work. Look at all the Christian charities.

We must understand that a communism finds roots in family based governing. And family based governing "Patriarchy or Matriarchy" have existed for ages.
It is the lack of moral spiritual values, the same as clear head thinking what makes any form of govern erroneous. In Revelations we see that is said that there will be not more night, that is people are free of evil thinking or confusion.

In fact ,Communism has not worked as it has had to.
I mean ,the idea is the people to be "freed" from everything - God ,Government ,violence ,differences in the social conditions.
But it hasn't worked :-D ...
And to your question - No, Jesus wouldn't dismiss Communism as evil ,because Jesus doesn't exist ;)

I don't believe that Jesus would view any form of government as "Evil".. it depends upon the leaders.
I believe that someday I might be asked to give everything I have to the Church.. and I will gladly do so.. EVERYTHING I have was a gift from God in some way or another.

communism is the perfect society. Do you even know what sommunism is? China is not communist country as russia was not too. In communism there is no money no governent no laws... people are aware that they souldn't do anything that hurts other people. you go to work and don't get paid, later you go to the store and don't pay for the products.
how can christianity be aqainst that, love, peace, understanding 0% crime??? Of course it is imposoble for communism to come right now. It must come by the evelution of men, not by revolution.
