Oh, I LOVE Bengals!!
Size is dependant upon the lineage. Some females are as large as the males. About 8 to 12 pounds is average, but there are extremes. She will be about four or five years old before being fully grown; that doesn't mean that she's going to have a huge growth spurt when she's three as the largest growth takes place in the first year. They do not grow huge and are NOT Bengal tigers.
While the females may be smaller than the males, they may also be more active. Also expect Bengals to be very active well past the ages of many other breeds. I have a nine y.o. boy (F4/5) and he's quite a bundle. I bought him a companion, another male and they get along quite well; he had a female companion for about five years, but she ran away - prior to that, she was a handful.
Bengals are descended from the Asian Leopard Cat / Tabby mix. The decendents are LEGAL in most states, but not the foundation cats (F1, F2, F3). For these cats, CITES permits are required. The descendants, which is what you have, need to receive vaccines as ordered by the local health dept.
Good luck with her!!

I have a female bengal that is almost 5 years old. She is quite small but she was also the runt of the litter so that may have something to do with it. I know that the rest of the females in her litter grew to be a bit larger, I expected her to grow bigger but she still looks like a large kitten. She is a great cat, very vocal, but also very affectionate. Have fun with your bengal, I didn't even like cats until I got mine.

I cannot answer that. Check with the breeder about your cat's ancestry. I do have an extremely active, PETITE female bengal. She is about 8.5 pounds. Although she is 12 years old, many people think that she is a large kitten. By the way her name is "Meow" (you probably understand why).

Your Bengal kitty is going to grow up to be a huge Bengal Tiger. This is classified and an exotic pet and in most cities that is illegal.

female bengals are always smaller. i have a male and a female bengal. the female is about 14 lbs if that, and my male is 21 lbs. haha. hes not fat or anything, just muscular... i wouldn't worry about it. its natural for females to be smaller.
