SPAGHETTI LUNA ROSSA
5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 large cloves garlic, crushed
1 tiny dried 'birds eye' chili, crushed, or to taste
2 x 400g cans Italian tomatoes, mashed
salt
freshly ground black pepper to taste
500g spaghetti
1 and half cups small cherry tomatoes, halved
20 or so fresh basil leaves
2 handfuls of fresh rocket leaves, trimmed
piece of fresh Italian Parmesan cheese in the block
Put the oil in the saucepan
Heat gently and add the garlic and chili
Cook until the garlic is just starting to colour, the pour in the tomatoes.
Season with salt and black pepper and bring the sauce to the boil.
Cook gently for about 30 minutes or until pulpy, stirring occasionally.
The sauce can be made ahead and gently reheated when required.
Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente
Take the sauce of the heat and add the cherry tomatoes and basil to the hot sauce.
Drain the spaghetti and turn it into a bowl.
Toss the sauce through, then strew the top with rocket leaves
Toss again, the scatter the parmesan over.
Serve immediately.

If you mean real spaghetti, not tinned, then all you do is boil some salted water and add the spaghetti slowly into it. Boil then simmer for a few minutes until tender. You can use any type of spaghetti, shapes or whatever. Drain and serve with your favourite sauce and Parmesan cheese.

SPAGHETTI SAUCE
4 tbsp. oil (from browned meat or olive oil)
2 lb. sausage or ground pork or beef or chicken
5-7 cloves garlic (more if you like it)
1 onion
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
Dash and sprinkle salt
Many mushrooms
1/2 c. grated carrots (if you like)
1-2 bell peppers
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
72 oz. tomato sauce (many sm. cans or 2 lg. cans)
1 tsp. honey
Fresh parsley
Brown meat in skillet by tearing meat into small pieces in hot skillet, turning meat to cook all sides. Some oil will separate from meat during frying.
In large pot or skillet used to cook sauce in, pour 4 tablespoons oil from meat. Add spice, onion and minced garlic to the heated oil, then stir in the remaining spices. Stir until onions get soft and garlic is a light golden brown (do not allow garlic to get too dark or it will be burned and bitter).
Clean and chop many fresh mushrooms and add to skillet. Add carrots and chopped bell peppers, occasionally stirring as to saute evenly.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Add tomato sauce cans (cooked tomatoes) to skillet.
Stir in drained browned meat.
Cover pot and let it simmer for an hour, not boil. Make spaghetti pasta 15 minutes before serving preparing according to directions on package

You could make a pasta-bake, this works with any type of pasta, not just spaghetti.
Boil the past for a few minutes, maybe 5 or so, until it is chewy (al dente) and not entirely cooked.
Place a layer of pasta in a greased oven pan, then a layer of cheese/vegetables/tomato/bacon/already cooked chicken or meat pieces/tuna or just whatever ingredients you like
Alternate between layers of pasta/other stuff, and finish with a sprinkling of cheese and back for around 30 minutes.
Serve with a salad. It's simple and delicious, great for kids as well, they love it.

All spaghetti needs is to be boiled for 8 minutes.
If you mean sauce, make marinara. It's quick. Fry a couple of cloves of garlic in oil, throw in a can of crushed tomatoes, cook for ten minutes. Done. Season to taste.
