I just bought my first used car, a 2003 Forester with automatic transmission (60,000 miles). It has power door locks, cruise control and a standard Suburu radio. I got it for $14,000 from a Toyota dealer who took it in trade from the owner, which may or not be a good deal. Anyway, I'm curious about what Foresters were selling for in 2003, and how much it depreciated to my $14,000. Also, if you have a Forester, are you happy with it?

When it was new it sold for $19,000-$21,984 and the Kelley Blue Book value for it right now is 2003 Subaru Forester $13,600 - $15,100.

You got a very fair deal on it and I am sure you will be happy with the performance.

"It gets you where you need to go in any weather, allows you to carry people, dogs or cargo and is inexpensive to own over its lifetime. What else do you really need?"
