My wife seem not to understand my concrens for her safety. As of right now she is in guatemala.?

i worry about her safety because people there seem to have no respect for the law and would do anything for money and to get money. the roads there and in really bad shape as will and again no obeys any traffic laws. she made a trip to the city yesterday and all i did was ask her to call me when she got there and when she return home. will she didn't do either one. so i called her at 7:00 pm and she was laughing drunk and it upset me. because i am 3000 miles away and all i want to know is she ok. i am confused and just looking for a anwser what do i do

ask her to come home because you are concerned for her safety . is she visiting family or friends ? if family then i am sure they keep an eye on her . if it is friends then I would definately be asking her to come home . You are right to be concerned guatemala is a very dangerous country especially for foreigners . but if she grew up there then she knows what is all about . but you could ask her to come home . good luck .

What? what part of Guate is this. Yea well, if shes white and alone, she most likley will end up in a bad situation. I suggest getting here home imeadiatly. She probably got drunk at zona viva, a section of the city dedicated to clubs and bars. good luck

You are correct to be worried, my understanding is that 3 tourists a week are taken hostage and held for money there, that was from their tourism department a few years ago.

The fact is, you can't control her from there, and she knows that, sounds like she's having a grand old time there. Hopefully she'll remember your love and come on home in her own time.
