I lost about 25 pounds but still have 20 to go. When I looked at a recent picture of myself, I was so disgusted - Iook huge - maybe I need to lose even more weight - I am so unhappy with my looks and I have watched my weight my whole life, even being anorexic in high school. But anyway, I had just gotten off the scale at Weight Watchers yesterday, happy that I lost the 25, but then ate an ice cream sundae last night - I guess as a reward - and now I'm upset with myself again - how can I keep up the fight to lose weight and then keep it off?

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

The ice cream sandwitch was a reward. Keep doing what you did to lose the first 25 pounds and you should be on your way :)

Hmmmm this is really hard to answer. I have had the almost the same problem just with getting taller. OK whenever you have an urge to eat something fatty just think of how you will look when you reach your weight goal. That will give you the drive to stick to ur diet. Good Luck

Its not about dieting for the rest of your life. Its about a lifestyle change. You need to make it part of your lifestyle; eat healthier, smaller portions, exersizing 30 minutes a day, and drinking more water. I dont believe in starving yourself, or depriving yourself. Eat ice cream, but eat one serving only. And dont eat after 7pm. Its really only small changes you need to make, like switching to whole grain bread and pasta, and cutting out sugary juices and soda. I lost 25lbs doing small things to change my life, and i kept it up every day. It dont feel like a diet, cause its not. I eat what i want, just in moderation.

Just keep on looking at old pictures of your self and look at pretty people with nice bodies and keep telling yourself you want to look like that.
