I could tell you plenty, but here a classic from Adi Shankara's "Bhaja Govindam'
Nalini Dal Gat Jalam Ati Talaram
Tadva Jeevitam Atishaya Chapalam
Meaning:
(In English)
As fickle as water-drops on a lotus leaf,
So quick (unpredictable) is Life.
(In Hindi)
Jis tarah kamal ke patton mein gaye paani ke boond hai
Usi tarah jeevan bhi bahut chanchal hai.

Here is one:
"Vidya dadati vinayam, vinayat yati patratam,
patratam tat dhanaptnoti, dhanat tat sukham."
In Hindi, it says, eduction makes one humble, humility makes one able, ability helps in earning wealth, and with wealth one gets happy.
Here is another:
"Sahitya sangeet kala vihin,
sakshat pashu, puchha vishana hin."
means in Hindi, "A person who has no interest in literature, music, arts is like a real animal without a tail, horns.
Here is another:
"Yada yada hi dharmasyaglanirbhavati bharata,
abhyuthanam dharmasya..............."
In Hindi, it means whenever there is decline of dharma, I will come to correct it.

It is a strange request but I shall try to meet it: Triya charitram purshashyam bhagyam janati na devo katto manushya - and the meaning is that about two topics, even the gods do not to predict, what to say of humans, and these are: mans lot, and ladys character.

नरस्य आभरणं रूपं रूपस्य आभरणं गुणः ।
गुणस्य आभरणं ज्ञानं ज्ञानस्य आभरणं क्षमा ॥
Meaning - Good looks decorate any body. One with good looks can be further decorated (bettered) with good qualities (virtue). A virtuous person can be decorated with knowledge. A person that has all of them can still better himself by learning to forgive.
