I am a struggling Christian. I don't go to church and I rarely read the Bible, because I don't like reading. I know that humans are wretched (including myself). I know that Good & Evil exist. I know that we are being tested although we all fall short before the Glory of God. It makes clear sense to me that material things are worthless. I've accepted Jesus as my savior although it seems I repent a lot and take it for granted but I truly feel guilty when I sin and always repent. Would God say "good job you made full use of your life and honored me". NO WAY. I pretty much failed him big time. I do not like people at all. I've tried for 28 years but it just doesn't work and I've accepted it. I sin a lot but always repent although I really have no fruit to show or anything really that God could be happy about. Will I go to heaven? I accepted his son as my savior because God obviously knows that we are pieces of sh*t. I know the nature of evil and I want to be back in the garden.

Well since it's all made up when you die your just going to die ... nothing more, nothing less, your just going to rot in the ground. So my answer's no then.

If you were a "Christian", you'd know that all you have to do is accept Jebus into your heart and then your saved and you have to do nothing else. It's kinda like Jebus puts you on the A-list and tells god "Yea, let him in he's cool."

But that's if you believe the whole religion thing.

What if someone told you that the Internet was a tool of the devil would you still use it? You sound like a very sad person to me. I thought Christianity was supposed to give you hope and joy and that kind of stuff..well you are not a very good advertisement for it. Seems you are torn up with guilt, which is what I find most Christians do very well at. Start living, enjoy the life you have, drop the guilt and face the music when and if it eventually comes. If you keep carrying on like you have been then you will have just lived a very sad existence and do you think that's what god wants for you to be sad and full of guilt....I don't think so...take a look around you at those who are far worse off than you and just be thankful. You may not be a people person but I am sure there are lots of things you could do to be productive that helps others. Someone said once "Let Go and Let God". and I'm not even a Christian...Good luck

Yes, you will be there IF you have accepted Jesus, and even though you struggle, you repent. However, you might pray to GOd that He would help you have a better attitude towards people. If you love Him, you will try to love His children.
God does not know we are pieces of anything. He loves us.

If you start reading the Bible (New Testament) just a minute or two a day, and pray, it will be easier. There are some churches that aren't so hard to get used to as others. There are churches that appeal to people who have never been to church and who don't care for traditional services. I sometimes go to one of those. It's very cool.

Blessings to you, and have a good day.

I'm having the same kind of problems you are, my friend. I believe all Christians are struggling. Just because you don't attend church and don't read the Bible, doesn't mean you can't pray. Prayer doesn't consist of reading and praying is the most important thing you can do. Pray. God will guide you back. I'm going to start taking a little of my own advice too.

Anyways, you can always pick up the Bible on CD :)

If you've trusted Jesus for your salvation and been born again by the Holy Spirit then you are Heaven bound. As to what you might hear at the judgment seat of Christ, maybe you can get a clue from this passage.

1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw-- 13 each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

Check out The Judgment Seat of Christ at the top of the Free Stuff page @ http://www.angelfire.com/rock3/cornerstone0/ and maybe you will find inspiration for your walk with Christ that will lead to hearing the words "Well done, good and faithful servant" when you meet up with Jesus at the judgment.

Nope you can't go to heaven like that. Under those circumstance there is definitely no heaven for you. If the brain offend the pluck it out and cast it from the saith the Lord. Its better to enter heaven with out a brain than to be cast into Hell with an offensive brain where the worm never dies and the flame is not quenched.

whoa. John 3:16....you truly beleive in jesus you go to heaven. no ifs ands or buts. everyone sins. God does not want you to have a miserable life cursing yourself for every sin you make. If you know you do not like people, then that is the first step to trying to change a bad habit. you dont have to be outgoing, just friendly. God loves us no matter what we do. we are his children. you obviously want to please God and effort is all we can give. God will help us along the way if you let Him.

if you have truly accepted jesus into your heart, and are filled with god's spirit, then most evangelicals would argue that you are "born again" and therefore heavenbound. they would also caution thus: don't be so haughty as to believe that human actions play more of a role in your salvation than the grace that god decides to give you.

im an atheist...since there is no god for me, the next best thing is grace and compassion toward neighbors and community.

we are all struggling. Those who dont struggle, don't try.

Do you have faith in Jesus Christ? Do you believe He can heal you? Because until you use the Atonement in your life. Until you know for yourself that you are forgiven you are going to continue to struggle.

I know from experience how tough it is. But I also know that if you go befor ehte Lord and speak to Him. Tell Him what is on your mind. Don't try to hide anything (He already knows it, Trust me). Do this and pray to know how you stand before Him, and He will reveal it to you. He will give you the peace the Atonement brings. and He will also tell you what else you need to do. Pray for the Spirit and do what you can to seek it and you will have the answer to your question. But you have to ask God for it.

Why are you worried about this? The real problem with people that ascribe to the judeo-christian ideology is that they spend their lives trying to be spiritual. As a Heathen, I find that I am already spiritual, I try to be human instead.
