No. Once Israel got their country back, they are there to stay. But, the generation that sees the reestablishment of the state of Israel will see the end. So, what is a generation? A 100 years. I believe that a 200 million man army will descend on the Valley of Megiddo and the revived Roman Empire of 10 countries, 5 strong 5 weak, will come to Israels defense. One third of the world dies instantly. Another one third dies from famine and plague. I think the Arabs are the 200 million man army and we are the revived Roman Empire. Islam is a false religion made up by a false prophet out of jealousy of the Jews. Isaac was the child of promise, not Ishmael. I think nuclear war develops and radiation poisoning takes place. For 3 and a half years after Israel is saved, there is peace in the world and the leader of the revived Roman Empire is looked upon as a hero. The next 3 and a half years are a nightmare as the spirit of the antichrist enters this leader. He wants a third temple built to honor him but Israel refuses. Finally, he wants to destroy Israel and Jesus Christ returns to save the Jews and the world. Through the Jews, salvation was offered to the world. I think this will take place before May 5, 2048-100 years since Israel became a country again.

Honestly, there's no question Israeli will survive. The United States has a vested interest in the survival of Israel. In 1997 and 2001, Fortune Magazine asked Congressmen what the 25 most powerful lobbying groups in the United States, and the AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) came up as the 2nd most powerful (ahead of the ALF-CIO and the NRA) in 1997 and 4th in 2001.
Even if the Israeli lobby were not as powerful as it is, the United States needs an ally in the Middle East that is not ideologically on any level opposed to its existence. And dare I say this, oil is probably a major motivator of that because even though Israel has little or no oil, the fact that it will always be a stable ally in the Middle East ensures that the United States will always have some form of influence there. So that's why the Israeli army is so well armed and well trained. It's mostly American jets and Patriot missiles that defend Israel.

I'm Jewish -
According to the Bible, no. "All the nations will turn against Israel, but with the breath of his mouth, the messiah will destroy the attackers.." (paraphrased, worded differently)
Realistically, no. Israel is an advanced nation in terms of military defense and intelligence. The mossad is easily one of the most successful espionage agencies in the world, and in combination with actual skill-based ranking system rather than the world-wide seniority/tenure crap, Israeli's shouldn't fret over wankers like Iran or Syria.
While the U.S backs Israel, it also backs Saudi Arabia. For those who are unaware, Saudi Arabia has been funneling money to madasras located within their borders for years. These funds are then laundered to neighboring countries like Iran and Syria.
The end result being attacks against Israel using weapons indirectly paid for by the western world.
Where do you think all this money comes from anyways?
Israel is not perfect, and it's aggressive tactics are clearly something to shout about, but you must appreciate just how manipulative the islamic theocracies are.
Arab countries infect the palastinian populous with jihad and loonies, who then turn on Israel. The arab world points the finger screaming bloody murder, even though they practically funded the anti-Israel operations.
Remember, the ARAB countries control the camps. Not the Israeli's.
This whole peace scam is a load of crap. The arabs never wanted true peace to begin with. Their version of peace is the destruction of Israel, all things non-islamic in the region (and to some, the world.)

Israel has nothing to fear. It can easily repulse any attack from any of its neighbors with ease. Also the IDF is a higly discplined force. The rescue operation at Entabbe is still one of the best operations in modern history. opposing Israel are nations that use there military to keep the monarchy in power or guerrilla forces like hezballoh, and Hamas which can inflict suffering on the Israeli people but in no way can take on the IDF in battle. Israel has survived through way worse than what it currently faces, the 73 war was Israel's darkest hour and it held. It held off the Arab Armies in its infancy and as long as American tax payers continue to buy Israel weapons it will hold out.

Israel has been attacked numerous times and turned the tables in dire situations. Assuming an Israeli defence did fail, the US would step in like they've been ready to do.
Most likely, the squabbling will just continue for decades, there'll still be bombings and such, but nothing will change.

Yes, Israel shall survive.
Superior intelligence: The Mossad is number 1 in intelligence gathering.
Military might: The Israelis are ferocious fighters. They are taught Krav Maga. They win all of their wars, or withdraw with dignity.
And they have the US backing them.
Israel shall be here to the end.

If Iran becomes a real threat to your country, Israel can handle it 10 times over. Your country is very strong. The USA will always support you.

I'd say you're pretty safe. Your country is the only one with nukes (other than perhaps, Iran) that has the stones to USE them. Sadly, I think its just a matter of who shoots first, Israel, or Iran.
Besides which... I'm still of the opinion that you have God backing you... *sigh* seems to be an unpopular opinion these days, but there it is.

Well you have been surviving very well since 1948 and I dont see the Israeli people giving up anytime soon. Why should they, they deserve the right to exsist as much as any other person who believes in democracy and free will to practise their religion and politics.

I feel for you and wish you the best. I sure wouldn't want to be such a small target with a bunch of fanatics trying to get nukes. I doubt they would actually attack all out. They would probably be satisfied just making life miserable. Not a very pleasant prospect, in either case, I'm afraid.
