i posted something about my car recently, and yesterday i was coming back from work, and i notice my car was hesitating a lot. and i thought you know maybe it was the wind because it was really windy that day. plus it was raining, and there was alot of water on the street,( you can go and read my recent posts about my car)so here i am on the freeway and my car completly slows down i couldnt accelerate, my brake light popped on and the car just stopped. i couldnt move the steering wheel and so i parked in the shoulder and i then i turned the car off for like a min or two then i turned it back on. and then it was driving like it didnt shut down. so drove to the nearest exit and waited like 2 hours for a tow truck, it starts and drives fine, but i dont want to be on the freeway when that happens.. what do you think could be going on with my car? the "service engine light" comes on and off frequently and i dont know what this means? the car is a 02 Nissan Altima, has 66,000 miles.

P0335 code for crankshaft sensor will probably be the problem. Your car is just getting lonely for some good Nissan attention. Please see the dealership also for any recalls and additional service needs. While there you can fall in love with the new Altima Coupe.

Could be you sucked up water into the intake but not very likely cause your engine would hydrolock... Maybe some wiring got wet, I know on my 1995 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo it got some wiring wet and wouldn't start and was giving me weird problems it was the ignition wires. Maybe also the ECU may be going on the fritz. Get it checked out at Nissan and they will help you out.

Were you running you car low on gas? May be a problem with the fuel pump.
